Install Java from DVD - PC
Describes steps to install Java on a PC from the course DVD-ROM. Mac users: Java is already installed on all Mac computers.
The OceanBrowser web phone requires that you have Java installed. All Mac computers have Java, on PC computers you may need to install it.
In the OceanBrowser web phone you will notice two links below the phone (1). One is to check if you have java installed the other is to install Java over the internet.
You may also install Java off the course DVD-ROM (if you have it available). Read on for instructions on how to do this.
Click the Go to software folder to open the software folder on the DVD-ROM.
A confirmation dialog appears, click OK.
The software installers appear - double click on "Java" and follow the on screen instructions to complete installation of Java.
