Describes how to subscribe/unsubscribe to a forum - which will start/stop messages from that forum going to your email.
When you are enrolled in a course a subscription to the course forum will be added automatically to your forum account. You can review or stop forum mail yourself from the User CP (control panel) in the forum.
A list of your subscribed forums will appear. Note the option to Unsubscribe from this forum.
If you unsubscribe a confirmation message will appear on your screen.
If your account is updated at any point (for example you change your enrolments) you may find your forum account gets re-subscribed to one of your old courses if it is in the same calendar year (e.g. a semester 1 course, and you are in semester 2). Just repeat the steps above to turn email for unwanted forums off.
If you don't mind loosing access to the resources on the DVD, send a message to support@oceanbrowser.com telling us to remove you from the old course you no longer need.
You may subscribe yourself to any forum using the Forum Tools menu (1) in the appropriate forum. Here we are viewing the Optics forum. Select option "Subscribe to forum" (2).
