Configure sound input - Win XP

Click on the start menu (1) and go to Settings (2) -> Control panel (3) asdfszdf

In the Control panel window, select Sounds and Audio Devices (1).

The Sounds and Audio Devices Properites window appears. Click on the Audio tab (1) . Select your USB Headset in Sound Playback (2) and Recording (3) areas. Your headset might have a different name depending on what brand it is (Plantronics, Logictech etc).

For a USB headset you should not need to make any further adjustments. Please do check that if you have a mute button on the headset cable that it is switched off when you wish to speak!
