The lesson describes how to login to your course using OceanBrowser 2 software.
When you launch OceanBrowser the main window will appear. After a few moments a dialog will appear asking you to login (1). You may also Login by selecting the Login option from the File menu (2).
The login window appears. Enter your OceanBrowser username and password. You must be connected to the internet to login.
If you do not know your login details, please select "Forgotten Password" from the Help menu (1). Alternatively you may contact your Course Administrator, or use the Contac us (2) option (2) to contact OceanBrowser support. Finally you can email or call OceanBrowser support:

The login window will display progress as your course(s) are unlocked for access.
At the completion of the login process you will be presented with a list of courses which we BELIEVE you are enrolled in. If this is WRONG then select the option "no it's wrong" and tell us what needs to be corrected. If you are not enrolled in the correct course(s) you will not be able to access the corresponding course content.
An "Issues to be resolved" dialog may appear. This lists the course resources available on your computer (1), and any resources that cannot be unlocked (2). When resources cannot be unlocked it is almost always because you have installed a course which you are not (yet) enrolled in.
If this screen appears you may safely ignore it unless it shows that you have locked resources for courses which actually enrolled in - in which case your enrolment information is probably wrong and you should contact us for assistance.
A confirmation dialog appears to confirm you are logged in. A progress bar will appear as your course resources are checked.
To access your course resources, follow the onscreen web page links, e.g. to access "Refractive Surgery 2" you would click on (4).
For quick access to a specific course resources, you can go to the Course Outline (1), select the course you wish to view (2), and the module and resource (3).
To access the course forum, open a browser and go to http://oceanbrowser.com and login with your username and password. Alternatively you can click the "Forum" button (1) in the OceanBrowser software. This will log you in automatically.
For assistance getting started you may like to view the Help videos, available in the Course Outline -> Help (2).
Finally please DO NOT HESITATE to contact OceanBrowser support (details above) if you need help or are confused in any way about how to get started with the technology required for your course. We are more than happy to help.
